Nassau, Bahamas, November 19, 2025: Colina Financial Advisors Ltd. (CFAL) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the $100 million bond offering for Island Power Producers (IPP), marking another significant milestone for the innovative energy company which is licensed to develop a LNG-powered, shore-side energy plant to supply clean, reliable electricity to cruise ships docked at the Nassau Cruise Port. The offering closed on November 14 and the company accepted an additional $12 million in oversubscriptions. Confirmations will be emailed to investors by Friday November 21, 2025.
This bond offering follows the successful retail equity share offering completed in August through the CFAL Private Equity Fund, which was also oversubscribed, raising $12 million in equity. With the equity component now finalized and the bond financing secured, IPP is well positioned to advance the development of its LNG-powered shore-side energy plant.
Angelo Butler, manager of corporate advisory services, said the performance of these two offerings within months of one another demonstrates the strong investor confidence in both the project and the future of LNG-powered electricity solutions in The Bahamas. This also shows the growing appetite for innovative infrastructure projects within the Bahamian capital markets
